The Winter That Never Was

MAY 9TH 2012


       It was the winter that never was,

there was hardly any snow, still cold although
     The lake was frozen but not to cold and thick enough to ice skate on
     You may have seen a person out there on a snow mobile on some parts of the lake or some ice fishing holes

    I thought to myself are these guys nuts I hope they don't fall through

    Its a shame that we did not get enough snow really it is

     I  would have gone ice skating but the lake was unsafe

    wish we would have made a snowman but we hardly got any snow not sure if   we had packing snow

    not enough snow for snow mobilers, i mean there were a few here n there

    I only went on a snow mobile two times or maybe three and that was it and thats when i was geting over being sick

       that was fun, you would think that you would need your snow gear to go outside but i guess not only a few times

   since there was not to much snow booo hooo on this years winter how strange or weird winter we been having

      at least im not complaning about not being able to ice skate or make a snowman

    geez la weez no wonder i call it the winter that never wasnif only we had more snow

   no worries no complaints there no rush

   oh well guess i can wait till the following winter it remains to be seen

      guess we should be thankful for the snow that we had and tha that you could still snow mobile and still make snowmen and or all you yoopers out there you can still do that in the U.P

      where there is more snow and still have a big blast with all your snow friends

     hope everyone had a great winter season and oh btw i feel bad for all those downhill skiers and all the snow places that did not get enough snow

    I am sure there was not enough business there thats for darn sure
    I would like to know how much there was up north hmmmm
    I wonder if the U.P had more snow then down here

water can be clean, dark or filthy
water can be scuzzy or contaminated
water can have animals or different kinds of species in it or animal droppings...ugggg

fish, shark clams the whole nine yards

water has salt or sea salt in it or sugar or dirt or chlorine in it
water can have seeds or seeweed in it or wild plant life

we drink, shower and bathe in it

water in all 50 states
water in other countries
dirty water
healthy water
soapy water
stinky sulfer water
in various places
germs and toxicating water

"some might say don't drink the water"

some water will make you sick
or unhealthy
smelly water,sugar water
vitamin water, chlorine water
city and raw sewage water

"some might say don't drink the water"
mineral water
nasty water
water you can't trust to drink
danger waters
highly toxic fume water
horrible water
clean and clear water
lakes and oceans and rivers n streams dirty or non dirty water

be careful when u drink the water
drink bottled water that is clean and clear and safe for you to drink

laugh in bed with your friend fred

laughing is good in the hood
laughing is a mile of smiles
be polite let laughter take flight

let the king of laughter take you under his wing
laugh like theres no tomorrow in the city of scarbouro

laugh with the highest of skies
laugh with evan and his woman named heaven
laughter is the best from the west
laugh with mallory who burned a calorie
laughter is a blast from the past

BEING THANKFUL

BEING THANKLFUL NOVEMBER 26, 2009


Folks what are you thankful for, I am thankful that my mom made it through her serious car accident, and that she had an angel on her shoulder
monica is greatful for great friends and family, i agree with that as well

there is a lot to be thankful for, many many things, too many
you have to be thankful for what you have not for what you do not have
i am thankful to have a rooof over the family house
and spend family time together
or with friends and relatives whether its brothers n sisters in laws aunts n uncles cousins and nieces and mom n dad

i think that everyone in this world should be thankful
especially in this bloomin economy
be thankful for family & friends, be thankful for the job you have or that you even have one
be thankful that you are healthy or have a positive attitude, appreciate what you have or have done to serve others and make a difference in other peoples lives

i am thankful to be in shaklee and serve others in need and make a difference.
i am thankful that i inherited a god given gift for music, just music n piano
people should be greatful as well and have that attitude of gratitude going on
i am thankful for a great funny and loving family

I am not one to complain about what im thankful for cuz i already know
so my question to you is what are you thankful for without further ado i will leave you with this quote "gratitude is not only the greastest of virtues but the parent of all others"

i am thankful for all the thanksgiving day holidays that i cherish year after year
and watching the parade and seeing the cute smiles on all the kids faces is priceless
as well as thankful
i was thankful for for another great day of the thanksgiving day parade

i am also thankful to the world and being able to help one another so again to you my friend, what are you thankful for???
channell seven was thankful to be serving a thousand turkeys to thousands of homeless people
or other people in detroit and being greatful at the same time

all i know is that i am thankful that i have a heart of gold and put others first and have a ear for music but most of all i am happy n thankful to serve others as well and make a difference when ever possible and be thankful to learn new things

I SWEAR

i swear i have seen a double rainbow, so bright so clear in the skies above

i swear i have seen the night sky so clear and oh so pretty and so filled up with sparkly stars

i swear i have seen a shooting star, so cool and fast in the dark knigh skies above

i swear i have flown on dozens of rides and airplanes in the past

i swear i seen a dog stand on its hind legs looking into the trees for some kind of critter

i swear i have seen or done many variious obstacles

i swear i have watched the 2008 summer olympics go by with each passing day from beginning to end

i swear i saw a dead rat be buried outside the back yard at brians house

i swear i have seen a mini water funnell on the pond a long time ago at my old house where i use to live

i swear i watched an all girls pyramid on my waterski team

i swear i have seen this in action one way or the other
